Design

Theatre by nature is collaborative. It truly shows how much better art can be when there are many minds behind the process. The foundation of LAHSA thrives on this belief. As part of a four-year sequence of courses, Senior Design and Production students compete for the coveted roles of main stage Costume designer, Set Designer, and Lighting Designer. These fall and spring productions are directed by a working professional and student designers are selected through a rigorous pitch process.  Senior Design and Production pathway students compete for positions on the LAHSA Design and Production team.  The roles are awarded based on academic merit and their ability to provide evidence for their design choices. These fall and spring productions are directed by working professionals and student designers are selected through a rigorous pitch process.
